7 Things Sunday …What is sleep? …10.13.24

Hey good people !

Happy Sunday

It’s another day at the ball field for us but I’m hoping everyone has a good week. Goodness I feel like I’ve been going going going without a good nap for weeks but that’s okay. My heart is full and I’m definitely making memories to look back on for the next decade.

Let’s get into this week.

1. Saturday I vended at Worship on the River. It’s a gathering for all the local churches and their congregations to come out worship, support local businesses, and fellowship. Living Water Ministries is the church who put it on. I was having a conversation with one of their members the other day about how involved they are in the community, specifically the 25 and up ages. This was the second year for the event and guys I was so impressed. I really wish more people participated because there was enough space for the entire community to be present. The teams that participated were amazing. There is so many talented people in our area and there is no greater cause to be present for. I’m thankful that I got to be apart of it.

2. I got an upgrade! Shout out JMN. He was filling a need and he doesn’t let us go without long before he makes something happen. We appreciate him deeply.

3. If you didn’t know I’m apart of a nonprofit called Black Culture Buzz. We partnered with Barry Gipson as he embarked up his very first Singles Conference. BCB, got to warm up the guest before the panel. It was a good time ! We got to meet some really sweet people and we are thankful that people allowed us to entertain them.

4.Took the girls to visit their favorite farm, Indian Village. We had pumpkin ice cream, went on a hayride, planted some strawberry seeds, picked pumpkins and the kids had a good time playing. It’s always a wonderful time to be there.

5.OPHS had their homecoming a couple weeks ago. I can’t believe Im at 18 years since I graduated high school. It feels like yesterday since I was riding around in my red Taurus, working at Sonic, and staying up literally all night. WHAT A TIME.
This is the second year of tailgating and it was nice to see everyone but honestly my favorite part is just sitting in my chair people watching. Shout out to the Lions for crushing the Patriots. I have two lions on the field and I don’t take our relationships for granted. Soon they’ll be off to college and grown and I’ll be wishing time slowed down more.

6. My birthday season is upon us and I pulled together the most fire outfit. I can’t wait to show yall. Shout out to HM, Target, and Shoe Carnival for pulling this together . Here’s a pic of the outfit that started the entire search. Although its sold out everywhere it deserves the mention.
