7 Things Sunday- 3.17.2024 Flying down i-10

Morning !
Happy Sunday! Another busy week of doing all the things I have to do but none of the things I need to do. This week has been high in emotion and slow in movement. I’m sure that paints a picture. Soccer season and league softball has started this week. I love watching the girls doing something they like so much. I am not sporty by any means but I’m thankful they have talents that will teach me new things.

1. My oldest had a tournament in Breaux Bridge. I haven’t been there in like 8-10 years. It’s a cute little city. Reminds me of home a bit. We had lunch at Crazy bout Crawfish and dinner at Dean’ O. Both were good. Target had some good items on clearance so you know I racked up.

2. One of my best friends came to meet us for the tournament. Knowing someone for almost 20 years is WILD and comforting. Get you a Jasmine.

3.Ya'll a friend approached me this week about speaking at her church next week for their women's spotlight! I am HYPE! but also, wiggin out. I have 5 minutes whole minutes. Fingers crossed it goes well. I think GOD already dropped me off a topic.

4. My team has lost another member, all for great reasons, but my little heart is HURT. I'm so proud of people stretching their wings and looking for new opportunities however" my people' are getting THIN.

5. I got to surprise my little on her field trip this week. We went to the movies to see Kung Foo Panda 4. I am so so blessed to be able to have the time and resources to experience that with her. It was such a special morning.

6. I finally got to read Black Mother of Hollywood by Jenifer Lewis! OMG it was SOO good. I listened to the audio book. GUYs if you have the chance PLEASE go listen to this book. It is like a performance. She is an amazing story teller and I love hearing about everyones come up stories. Even when you're up there's still problems. I also listened to Walking in my Joy, in these streets. Do yourself a favor and read/listen it.
