7 Things Sunday... Spring Break Recap.. 4.27.205
Hey good people!
Happy Sunday.
We are in full busy season. Soccer is finally over and we have Softball and Teeball. Testing is this week, and graduation season is UPON US.
Mama's how are ya'll doing? What are the plans for summer? I was talking with JMN about the budget for the summer and he was shocked to know what we pay for daycare in the summer.
I am HURT that the school system is not doing SOAR. That program was so helpful, educationally AND assisted SO much with daycare cost. We are going to be splitting some time between a couple places. There will be a lot less swimming but I hope to make that up with some time at a friends pool on Fridays.
Anywho!
Since we had such a good time for spring break I thought I would do a recap on the blog!
7 Things we did for Spring Break!
We went to Dallas this year, my best friend and mother to my God daughter, lives in Allen, TX. Unfortunately the kids had already had spring break but we made the best out of it so when they got out of school we could do something all together. We went down on Wednesday and came home Saturday night.
-
Legoland! My big loves Legos and she is pretty amazing at putting them together. A couple years ago we went to Grapevine mall to Peppa Pig land so I was familiar with the location. This mall is amazing. It has a good food court and shopping.
- Sea Life
I'd never heard of this before, but let me tell you, it was SO worth it. We were able to get these tickets together with Legoland. This business was across the hall and the kids loved it.
3. We went to Allen's community center, where they have a ink rink. They have a local hockey team and when they aren't on the ice they allow public skating, lessons and everything else. THIS is an example of what culture can do for kids. We don't live in a northern state so imagine having this in your back pocket as a kid.
This was super affordable, we got tickets from Group on.
4.
4. B+ B Theaters. Snow White came out on March 21 and of course the kids wanted to see it. This Theater was soo cool because it gave you the oppertunity to come 30 mins before the move and play. The seats were super comfy and they had a wide selection of food. 5. Kid Mania
Let me show you this place. This is a place where everyone wins! The kids can play, everyone can eat, ( and the food was good), if you need a quiet room to work, they got that. AND you have a 360 view of your kid at ALL times.
6. Thrifting- We picked up a friend, hey Daliah girl, and they were in tow to 3 stores. We got some stuff for them too of course but it was a joint enjoyed venture.
7. Jump World
You've seen one you've seen them all. Shout out to Groupon.
Play is one of the greatest things I see my kids do. To me it shows how they will be as an adult. It also tells me if they are processing the guidance I have given them as a parent to operate in the world.
What did ya'll do for Spring break? Hope everyone made it out alive lol
