7 Things Sunday… We Mustard Ketch up… 12.22.24

Hey yall

December is almost done and I could shout about how amazing this year has been.

1. Today was candle light service. The pastor talked about the birth of Jesus. It was wonderful. My prayers are literally unfolding before my eyes and to know the things God has for me and my family, I am forever grateful.

2. I did a pop up book reading at the library!

3. There’s been a lot of celebrating and gathering around here. School programs and school tours, 2 company parties, game nights, and the family Christmas party, we’ve had a full schedule but also full hearts.

4. Christmas is fast approaching which means Christmas clearance is on the way. I went to Target today just to scout what I need to come back for. I was really minimal for Christmas decor in the house.

5. I cleaned my shop out and got rid of a bunch of stuff in my bins. I have big plans for 2025 and I need to make sure I have things in order and everything has a space. I really want to put a bathroom in the shop this next year so I can have more game nights out there.

6. I might be in my cooking era. I love a good soup and pasta . I’ve been trying to use what’s in my fridge and freezer more instead of grabbing food. Is it be or does fast food not taste good anymore ? I’ve cooked about 2/3 nights the last 2 weeks which is huge for me. I’m also working on a cookbook for my kids so they have recipes from their childhood. Plus for me to have an easy go to place to find them when I cook.
