7 Things Sunday -What are you holding on to ? -6.9.2024

Hey yall

It’s June ! In our household we have A-LOT to celebrate in this month so be prepared for a lot of joy in my upcoming 7 things Sunday's.

1. Softball/Teeball season is officially over on our home. It seemed like we had double the games this year which had us running ragged but these girls have improved in skill tremendously!

2. Believe it or not I’ve been running on my treadmill. It has been a lifelong dream of mine to be a runner and TikTok has hyped me up enough to be semi consistent. I hear all the time running outside is diff than on a treadmill and let me tell you it ABSOLUTELY is ! I need some virtual 5ks ! I am not about this running on pavement in the Louisiana heat.

3. With school being out we had to make some adjustments for our girls. I am so glad my 4yo got accepted into per k so we didn’t have to pay daycare again. However, with summer being here that means daycare here we come. She took it like a champ tho. Thankfully there were some workers whom she’s known since she was a baby still there so she was so excited to see them. Shout out to the staff at JB.

My big girl is doing Soar for the month of June. I am very thankful for her schools staff that she loves and her Gram that can pick her up everyday.

This week she went to our local library for an activity. We have been checking the Cattails to see what she was going to be able to attend and stuck gold this week.

4. Thursday was Art Crawl ! I had some amazing company and had some really good conversation. You guys wouldn’t believe how well this introvert has been doing !

5. Friday in between work I spent a lot of time catching up on getting the girls seen for their wellness visits at the doctor. I really can’t fathom that fact I have an 8 year old. We are closer to 12 than we are to 2 and some days thinking about it hurts.

6. Saturday, In the South had 2 markets. My niece, Taijah, held it down at one while I was at another. I think we’re going to do two more this month. Then 2 next month. The customers have been amazing ! Also, shout out to my neighbor Henny and her boo thang for being there if makes life so much easier.

7. We are in between two churches right now. I really love them both for different reasons. The sermon today really hit me. We were talking about what debts we owe and how we are holding it against others. Pride and unforgiveness are sins yet here we are asking for others to pay off their debts to us when Jesus has already paid ours and theirs off.
im still charging some people for the things they’ve done. And I need to let it go.
