Hey good people, how’s it going?

 Happy Sunday!

So let’s talk about something a little different today. Not kids, not schedules, not budgets… but women. The kind of women I’m drawn to. Because I realized that a lot of women I like to watch have some of the same qualities.

I’ve been watching a mix of things lately. Khloe in Wonderland, interviews with Kristin Cavallari and Lauren Conrad, Tracee Ellis Ross, Issa Rae, Mara Brock Akil.

And it clicked. I like witty women. Who can go back and forth, who can say something funny and then follow it up with something real. I like women who feel.
Not surface level. Not performative. Women who are honest about their experiences even when it’s not polished.

I like women who love women. I like women who stand up. Women who are vocal. Women who can say what needs to be said. I like women who are comfortable being themselves.

A little funny. A little awkward,  bold. A little soft. All at the same time.

In reality I find that to be me. I’m not about to force connections. I’m not about to play nice just to fit in. But if I rock with you? I rock with you.

I’m a girl’s girl but not in a messy way. Not in a “everybody gets access” way. More like, “I respect you, I support you, but I also know who I am.”
